Telusu Kadha movie review: Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer is a contemporary take on modern relationships

Varun (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is a person who grew up without parents. He wants his family to be happy. But his lover Raaga (Srinidhi Shetty) doesn't think marriage is a good idea or that society should put labels on relationships. Varun's heart breaks as they break up, but he later marries Anjali (Raashii Khanna). The couple finds out fairly early on that they can't have kids of their own. Raaga comes back into Varun's life by chance, and this changes Anjali's life in a way she never thought possible. The fundamental point of Telusu Kada is how the three of them deal with love, heartbreak, and the choices they make that affect how they feel.

Performances and analysis:
Siddhu plays Varun really well, getting rid of his "Tillu" qualities on purpose to show depth and control. He often tries too hard to be unusual, yet his poignant scenes and humorous timing really stand out.

Raashii Khanna does a great job of playing Anjali Sharma in this movie. The way she and Siddhu get along on film, especially at the beginning, makes the movie appear more authentic. Srinidhi Shetty plays Raaga very well, even though the creator didn't like the character. The flashback flashbacks clearly demonstrate how many different feelings she has.

Harsha Chemudu, who plays Varun's friend and business partner, makes the story funny and tragic at the same time. Annapoorna, a well-known actress, makes a strong climax scene even better. Rohini and Sanjay Swaroop appear in short but strong passages.

Technicalities:

Thaman's music is one of the best aspects about Telusu Kada. Two of his songs have already made it to the top of the charts, which is in line with the movie's theme. His joyful background music, which sounds like OG, doesn't often go with the love tale. The movie is better because of V. S. Gnana Shekar's cinematography, especially the flashback and vineyard scenes, which are highly rich and evocative.

Naveen Nooli, the editor, keeps things moving, but a tighter edit may have trimmed out some of the bits that keep coming up. The subject is very intimate, but People Media Factory does a great job with production, so the movie seems clean and grand. What works?

Neeraja Kona is directing for the first time, but she has a clear notion of what she wants and knows how to connect with people on an emotional level. She writes a story that is relevant and easy to comprehend that highlights how relationships are changing these days. The movie shows how love, commitment, and fresh ideas don't always go well together, especially for couples who live in cities. The writing sounds true and based on life, yet the fancy tone can be hard for a lot of people to understand.

Kona's finest skill is making you feel something with her scenes, as when Varun and Anjali first meet, the baby shower, and the "baby kick" scenes. These dramatic incidents and sentences like "Kasepu em matladaddu... ne silence vinalani vundi" show how good she is at telling stories.

What does not work?

Telusu Kada is charming, but the pacing is off and the script is too similar to previous movies. After the first combat, the tale stops going ahead and depends too much on slow-motion views of the hero and loud music. Some of the exchanges, especially the ones questioning Annapoorna's character in the second half, don't make sense and are just silly. The plot also looks too niche; it seems to appeal more to people who live in cities and are modern than to the greater Telugu audience.

Verdict:

Telusu Kada is a deep and serious romantic drama that depicts how hard it may be to be in a relationship these days. You should see this movie if you like stories that are set in the present. It's honest, the acting is outstanding, and the issues are easy to understand.
