Acclaimed actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is lending her voice and influence to UN Women India’s 2025 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, running from 25 November to 10 December.

This year, the focus is on an increasingly urgent issue under the theme “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls”, drawing attention to the rapid rise of online abuse.

Prabhu, celebrated for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema as well as the Indian TV series The Family Man, reaches over 37 million fans on social media.

In a heartfelt video message released today, she spoke about the very real harms women and girls face online—ranging from harassment and stalking to doxxing, deepfakes, and the non-consensual circulation of manipulated images.
