Indian rapper Sooraj Cherukat, known as Hanumankind drops song Hanuman in Bollywood now rapping in Tamil Cinema as well Even as he awaits the launch of his rap track for Jana Nayagan, Thalapathy Vijay s last film., as well as his Tamil debut, Indian rapper Sooraj Cherukat aka Hanumankind is making music his way to reach out to the west as well as the world.
Directed by H Vinoth, the movie is Vijay’s last on-screen appearance for some time as he is set to embark on a political journey.
Hanumankind Collaborates with Anirudh
Confirming the same in an interview to Ananda Vikatan, Hanumankind said he has joined hands with music composer Anirudh Ravichander for a special rap number for Jana Nayagan.
“I have sung a wonderful rap track for Thalapathy Vijay in Jana Nayagan, which has music by Anirudh,” stated Shashaa in this interview, without divulging if the rap would be of a philosophical nature or follow the foot-tapping beat.
The news has been kept under wraps and yet it has created a huge buzz already among Vijay fans and music lovers as the anticipation of something stable and banging in all new forms is part of the film's music.
Hanumankind is Not New to Cinema
Hanumankind isn’t new to the film industry despite making his Tamil film debut. His famous previous works were Maadeva from Kannada cult film Popcorn Monkey Tiger (2020), and The Last Dance from Fahadh Faasil’s blockbuster Aavesham (24).
With a reputation for sharp lyrical play and hybrid hiphop, Hanumankind’s presence on Jana Nayagan will be a refreshing contemporary spin to what appears to be an intense, suspenseful drama.

Scheduled for 9 January 2026 release, Jana Nayagan will also release on the Pongal weekend, which is known as a time for Tamil film producers to release their best movies. Starring Vijay in the lead and directed by H.
