The shoot of Dhurandhar, the highly anticipated Ranveer Singh-starrer directed by Aditya Dhar, was disrupted by an unfortunate incident in Ladakh. Reports confirm that around 120 crew members were rushed to the hospital in Leh after suffering from severe food poisoning, creating panic on the film set.

According to officials, the incident took place late Sunday evening when crew members began experiencing abdominal pain, vomiting, and headaches shortly after consuming their meals. With symptoms spreading rapidly among a large number of workers, they were immediately taken to the Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital for emergency treatment.

A senior doctor at the hospital revealed that it was a clear case of mass food poisoning. “We managed the patient rush effectively. The police also stepped in to regulate the overcrowded emergency ward and prevent panic,” the doctor stated. Fortunately, the situation was brought under control and most of the patients have since been discharged after receiving timely medical care.

Officials further mentioned that nearly 600 people on the set consumed the same food that day. To determine the exact cause of contamination, food samples have been collected and are under detailed analysis. Authorities are now awaiting lab reports to fix accountability.
