Radhika Apte thinks the film industry is not 'conducive' to new mothers, says 'I don’t think they are...'

Bollywood actress Radhika Apte, who is also a new mom, is the latest star to advocate for more family time and lesser working hours but says she is not sure how to negotiate this.

After Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte is the latest star to advocate for more family time.

While speaking with Indian Express, Radhika stated that the film business isn't particularly 'conducive' for new mothers like her.

Radhika further said she doesn't know how to handle her profession today. She was asked whether the industry is conducive to new moms, to this she said: “I don’t think they are. I don’t know how I’m going to navigate that going ahead.”

Radhika's response follows rumours that actress Deepika Padukone recently turned down Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit when her demand for an 8-hour shift and a better compensation package were not granted.
