Reports indicate that director Sukumar, despite his long-standing partnership with Devi Sri Prasad, was unhappy with the current background score for 'Pushpa 2'. As a result, other prominent composers have been brought on board, including SS Thaman, known for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Sam CS, recognized for his work in 'Kaithi', and Ajaneesh Loknath, who gained fame for his score in 'Kantara'.

Further, there are also updates about the film's dance sequences. Earlier reports suggested that Shraddha Kapoor would be featured in a dance number with Allu Arjun, it has now been confirmed that Sreeleela will take on this role. Last she was seen in the Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer 'Guntur Kaaram' where she was also highly praised for her electrifying dance sequence in the song "Kurchi Madathapetti".
