Even though Priyanka Chopra is still captivating audiences with her most recent Hollywood appearance at Heads of State, the international celebrity recently disclosed a more relatable aspect of herself: she actually detests doing laundry.
In a light-hearted interview with People Magazine, Priyanka made a candid confession: “Laundry is one of the hardest chores for me. I genuinely struggle with it. I’ll always try to get someone else to take it off my hands.”
She added with a chuckle, “I can steam and iron, I can fold clothes too. But the actual laundry process? It’s just too much — too many buttons to press, too many settings to choose from, and far too many little things to keep track of.”
The actress went on to share a humorous anecdote involving her mother-in-law, Denise Miller Jonas. “She once tried to teach me how to do it, but that was really just my sneaky way of getting her to do my laundry for me,” she admitted, laughing. “I should probably call her right now and warn her that I said this — ‘Just so you know!’”
After marrying American musician Nick Jonas in 2018, Priyanka frequently shares with her fans glimpses of her family life, including joyous occasions and touching moments with their daughter, Malti Marie.
The actress previously revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that Denise had even witnessed her win the Miss World title in 2000, demonstrating her well-established rapport with her in-laws.
“My mother-in-law told me, ‘I remember watching you when you won.’ Nick was seven at the time, I was 17. He was sitting there, apparently watching that moment,” she recalled.
Priyanka is having a successful run in her career. She co-stars with John Cena and Idris Elba in her action-comedy Heads of State, which is available on Prime Video.

She will next be seen in the well-known film Judgement Day, in which she co-stars with Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, and The Bluff, opposite Karl Urban.
She also has SSMB29 for which she was shooting in Odisha, some time back. The film has not been announced yet.
