As Bihar gears up for its 2025 assembly elections, actor-turned-politician Pawan Singh finds himself caught in a storm that has nothing to do with campaigning and everything to do with his personal life. The Bhojpuri superstar, who recently rejoined the NDA, has now responded to the explosive allegations made by his wife Jyoti Singh, who went live on Instagram accusing him of harassment and infidelity.

The controversy began when Jyoti Singh appeared outside Pawan’s residence in Lucknow, breaking down before the cameras and alleging that her husband had cheated on her.

The video went viral, with clips flooding social media and political chatter picking up around the episode — especially given Pawan’s recent return to the BJP fold.

With the media frenzy growing, Pawan Singh decided to put his side of the story forward. On Monday, he posted a detailed clarification on Instagram in Hindi, calling the allegations baseless and politically motivated.

In his statement, Pawan wrote, “I know only one thing in my life that the public is God for me. Will I hurt the sentiments of all of you, because of whom I have reached this far? Jyoti Singh ji, is it not true that when you came to my society yesterday morning, I respectfully invited you to my house and we talked for about 1:30 hours?”
