Prime Video’s acclaimed musical drama Bandish Bandits Season Two has achieved a major milestone, winning the Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held in Goa.
The series triumphed in a competitive category where Prime Video had secured three nominations, including Paatal Lok Season Two and the Tamil Original Suzhal: The Vortex Season Two. This marks Prime Video’s second win since the category was introduced in 2023, following Panchayat Season Two’s victory that year.
The honour was presented by Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, and Dr. L. Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs. The winner was chosen by a distinguished jury chaired by celebrated filmmaker Bharatbala Ganapathy, alongside jury members R. Mahendran, Munjal Shroff, Rajeshwari Sachdev, and Sekhar Kumar Das.
Created by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari—who also directed the season—Bandish Bandits Season Two is produced by Leo Media Collective Private Limited and written by Tiwari with Atmika Didwania and Karan Singh Tyagi.
The new chapter reintroduced audiences to the world of music, passion, rivalry, and love as Radhe and Tamanna navigate personal ambition, legacy, and the intense pressure of an all-India band championship.
Set against the idyllic surroundings of Kasauli and bustling cities across India, the season features an impressive ensemble cast including Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, Sheeba Chaddha, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Divya Dutta, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar in key roles.
Bandish Bandits Season Two premiered on Prime Video on December 13, 2024.
