Speaking about his choice to wear the pin, he stated, “I’m just always on the case of trying to recognise Palestine and it having as much support as it possibly can because it’s what it absolutely needs.”
His statement comes amid rising tensions, as reports earlier in the day revealed that Israel had announced a cut-off of humanitarian aid to Gaza—a move seen as a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
