Popular singer Neha Kakkar recently opened up about the chaos surrounding her Melbourne concert, revealing shocking details about the event’s mismanagement. Addressing her fans, Neha expressed gratitude to those who supported her during the difficult time and clarified the situation.
Concert Mismanagement and Financial Loss
Taking to her Instagram, Neha disclosed that the event was severely mismanaged, with the organizers failing to pay the sound vendors, leading to significant delays in the sound check. "The sound check got delayed by hours because the sound vendor was not paid, and he refused to put the sound on," she revealed.
The situation worsened when the organizers stopped responding to calls. "We did not even know if the concert was happening because the organizers stopped picking my manager’s calls. Apparently, they were running away from the sponsors and everyone."
Despite these hurdles, Neha and her team pushed forward, ensuring that the show went on for her dedicated fans. Shockingly, she revealed that she performed the concert for free after the organizers allegedly vanished with the money.
"Do you all know that I performed absolutely free for my Melbourne audience? The organizers ran away with my money and others too," she stated.
Her band members suffered as well, lacking basic necessities. "My band was not even given food, hotel, and even water. My husband and his boys went and provided them food," Neha shared.
Addressing Accusations of Delay
Neha also responded to claims that she arrived three hours late for the show. "They said she came three hours late—did they even ask once what happened to her, what did they do to her and her band?" she questioned.
"When I spoke on stage, I didn’t even tell anyone what happened to us because I didn’t want anyone to get harmed. But now that it’s come on my name, I had to speak up," she added.
Gratitude to Fans
Despite the ordeal, Neha expressed immense gratitude to her fans, especially those who attended the concert, cried with her, and danced their hearts out. "I really appreciate all the efforts they took to clarify my situation. I’m always gonna be thankful to all of them who attended my concert that day and cried with me and even danced their hearts out."
She also thanked her loyal supporters, whom she lovingly calls "NeHearts," for always standing by her side. "I can’t thank my NeHearts enough for always standing up for me and everyone who supported me and gave me only love. Thank you."
While Neha hinted that there is more to the story, she concluded her statement by saying, "Though there’s still a lot to share, I guess this is enough."
Fans have since rallied behind her, demanding accountability from the organizers.
