Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she reshared an Instagram Story posted by Raveena Tandon, commemorating 50 years of the iconic film Khel Khel Mein.
In addition to being a significant cinematic achievement, the film, which starred the late Rishi Kapoor alongside Neetu, is also a treasured memory she shares with her husband.
The fact that Raveena's late father, Ravi Tandon, directed the movie gave the homage an additional emotional dimension.
Raveena Tandon took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, May 23 and shared a poster of the hit film Khel Khel Mein featuring Rishi and Neetu. She wrote as the caption, "50 years of this fabulous film! #ravitandon #rishikapoor @neetu54."
Khel Khel Mein marked the first major hit for Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh as an on-screen pair, establishing them as one of Bollywood’s most beloved duos. The film revolves around three college friends who, in a bid to play a harmless prank on a wealthy jeweller, find themselves entangled in a dangerous game when the joke spirals out of control.
What begins as light-hearted mischief soon turns into a gripping thriller as the trio gets framed for murder by an enigmatic criminal. Rishi Kapoor takes on the role of the protagonist, while Rakesh Roshan impressively portrays the film’s antagonist.
One of Bollywood's most beloved love stories is that of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Their on-screen chemistry quickly developed into a real-life relationship after they first met on the set of Zehreela Insaan (1974). They got married in 1980 following years of courtship and a number of successful films together.

Their easy friendship and lively presence glowed on screen, and their love lasted for decades until Rishi's death in 2020, even after Neetu stopped doing acting full-time after getting married.
