A source close to Sobhita mentioned that she personally went shopping with her mother to select the saree, and they also picked a simple white khadi saree made in Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh. In addition, Naga Chaitanya will have a matching set to wear, following the custom.

The couple’s engagement took place quietly on August 8, 2024, after they had been dating for over two years. Before Sobhita, Naga Chaitanya was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but they divorced in October 2021 after four years of marriage.
