Britney Spears’ song ‘Criminal’ surges after Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest

Britney Spears' fans, the B-Army, are rallying to get her 2011 song 'Criminal' from the album 'Femme Fatale' back on the charts following the news of her ex, Justin Timberlake, being arrested for driving while intoxicated on June 18.

The charting of the songs comes after Timberlake’s arrest for reportedly running his 2025 BMW through a stop sign.

Britney Spears’ fans, the B-Army, are banding together once again to to get her 2011 hit song ‘Criminal,’ off her album ‘Femme Fatale,’ to chart after news broke of ex Justin Timberlake getting arrested for a DWI (Driving while intoxicated).

On Tuesday, June 18, around 12:37 a.m., Timberlake was placed under arrest after the police determined that the singer was “operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition,” the Sag Harbor Police said in a statement.

Following this incident, Britney Spears’ fans encouraged people to buy the Grammy winning singer’s song. ‘Criminal’ was released as a single from her seventh studio album on Sept. 30, 2011.

The charting of the songs comes after Timberlake’s arrest for reportedly running his 2025 BMW through a stop sign and "fail[ing] to keep on the right side of the roadway,” per the police report.
