On the occasion of Ram Charan’s 39th birthday on March 27, director S Shankar and the team of the forthcoming Telugu-language political thriller Game Changer released the first song from the film. Titled Jaragandi, the song, composed by music director Thaman S, has been sung by Daler Mehndi and Sunidhi Chauhan. The team shared a lyrical video of the foot-tapping dance song. Dancing sensation Prabhu Deva is said to have composed some electrifying dance moves for this chartbuster mass number.
On Wednesday, the makers shared a new poster from Game Changer along with the song announcement. In the poster, Ram was seen wearing a purple kurta while he held what seems to be a book in his hand. Sharing the poster, Daler Mehndi wrote, “Get ready to jam to my epic track “Jaragandi" for the mega star @AlwaysRamCharan Ji’s flick ‘GAME CHANGER’, with slick beats by the one and only super music director @MusicThaman Ji."
A striking new picture, featuring the film’s lead stars, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, has been unveiled too. Both the actors look stunning in the photograph, which was captured while they were in action for Jaragandi.
The film also stars other artists like Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani and Nassar. Ram Charan will essay the role of an IAS Officer, Ram Madan, while Kiara Advani will be his love interest and another fellow IAS officer. The movie is directed by Shankar and marks his debut directorial. The screenplay is written by Karthik Subbaraj, who directed the rib-tickling Tamil film Jigarthanda DoubleX, among others.
The OTT deal of Game Changer has reportedly been finalised. Amazon Prime Video has bought the streaming rights of the film for all languages. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film was expected to release this year in September, but now has been postponed given the tight schedule of the director Shankar.
