In a dramatic turn of events, the Mumbai Police have arrested a 25-year-old man from Rajasthan on charges of criminal intimidation after he allegedly uploaded a video threatening to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The suspect, identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar from Bundi, Rajasthan, claimed in the video that he had ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs, notorious criminal outfits.

According to the crime branch official who spoke to PTI, Gujar uploaded the threatening video to his YouTube channel. In the video, he made a chilling declaration: "Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and other gang members are with me, and I am going to kill Salman Khan as he did not apologize yet." The video, which was filmed on a highway in Rajasthan, quickly gained attention due to the serious nature of the threats and the individuals implicated.

Considering the gravity of the situation, the Mumbai Police took swift action. A team was dispatched to Rajasthan to investigate and apprehend Gujar. The suspect was subsequently arrested and brought to Mumbai, where he is currently being held for questioning. The case has been registered at a cyber police station in Mumbai, indicating the involvement of digital evidence and online activities.

The police are now verifying whether Gujar has any prior criminal background. The official stated, "We are verifying if Gujar has any prior criminal background." He has been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 506(2) (punishment for criminal intimidation), and provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act. Further investigation is underway to uncover more details about Gujar’s connections and intentions.
