Actor Ram Charan is set to receive an honorary doctorate from Vels University in Chennai on April 13, a prestigious accolade previously bestowed upon individuals like Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and director Shankar. This recognition comes as a nod to his significant contributions to the entertainment industry and his ventures in entrepreneurship.

Since his film debut in 2007 with 'Chirutha', Ram Charan has earned widespread praise for his performances. Over the years, he has collected numerous awards, including Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards, and was recently nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for his role in the blockbuster film 'RRR.'

Vels University has a history of honoring notable figures across different sectors.
