In the latest poster, Kamal Haasan is back in his iconic role, wearing a traditional white shirt and veshti, his hair stylishly grey. He's seen flashing a clever grin, showing off a martial art move with his fingers, even while in handcuffs. The poster also hints at the movie's theme with the words “Zero Tolerance,” pointing to Senapathy's fight against corruption. "Indian 2" is the follow-up to the 1996 hit movie "Indian", which was the first project where Kamal Haasan and director Shankar teamed up.

The original "Indian" movie showed Haasan in dual roles, as both a father and his son, with the father being a former freedom fighter turned vigilante, who targets corruption. The movie was a massive success and remains a favourite among Tamil cinema fans. “Indian 2" picks up the story from where it left off, featuring a cast that includes Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others.
