Preity Zinta, co-owner of the IPL team Punjab Kings, recently held an 'Ask Me Anything' session on the social media platform X. Despite her team's loss to Chennai Super Kings, she was upbeat and interacted eagerly with her fans. During the session, many fans asked about her experiences and thoughts on working with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Preity had only words of praise for Salman Khan, describing him as a "wonderful friend with a heart of gold." She elaborated on his qualities, saying, "Salman has a heart of gold & is the most loyal & amazing friend besides being an incredibly talented and effortless actor. His sense of music is excellent & he is extremely down to earth and simple when you get to know him." Preity also reminisced about their work together in the film 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke,' which also starred Rani Mukerji, highlighting it as one of her favorite films with Salman.
When asked if she would consider working with Salman again, Preity expressed openness to the idea, provided they find a good script, emphasizing that with the right script, anything is possible. She also shared a fond memory involving Salman’s late pet, Myjaan, showing her personal connection to Salman extends beyond just professional ties.
Regarding Shah Rukh Khan, another Bollywood heavyweight, the questions continued. Preity responded enthusiastically about the possibility of working with him again, stating, “When we get a mind-blowing script together that only he and I can do. Till then gotta wait." She praised Shah Rukh’s dynamic presence on set, recalling her time working with him in the film 'Dil Se' directed by Mani Ratnam. She described Shah Rukh as a 'powerhouse of talent' and emphasized how he made the filming process both challenging and enjoyable. “SRK is one of the most generous & fun actors to work with. He always keeps his co-star on their toes & is very entertaining & competitive. I learned a lot from him in Dil Se," she noted.
Outside of her AMA session, Preity Zinta is busy with her acting career. She has started shooting for the movie 'Lahore 1947,' a historical drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. This marks her return to the big screen after a lengthy hiatus. Preity has been actively sharing updates from the set, expressing excitement about her role in this new project through posts on her Instagram account. This engagement with her fans both online and through her films shows her continued passion for the entertainment industry.
