Actor Chunky Panday recently shared some fond memories of his early days with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking on the show Timeout With Ankit, Chunky reflected on Shah Rukh's humble beginnings in Mumbai.

According to him, Shah Rukh, along with his wife Gauri, initially lived in a rented flat when they first moved to the City of Dreams. He recounted how Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first friends his younger brother, Chikki Panday, made in Mumbai. "They were always at our place, sitting around watching videos on cassettes," he said, highlighting the simple joys they shared before Shah Rukh’s rise to stardom.

Chunky Panday expressed no surprise at Shah Rukh’s eventual success, describing him as someone destined for greatness. "You could see the fire in him; that talent was always there, even before he became a superstar," Panday explained.

He admires Shah Rukh for maintaining his down-to-earth nature over the years, adding, "He’s always been very sure of himself and where he was headed. I’m proud to have known him from those days."
