“People called me a cannibal, and everyone believed them. They’re like, ‘Yep, that guy ate people.’ Like what? What are you talking about? Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people! How am I going to be a cannibal?! It was bizarre,” he said.

Hammer also looked back on the accusations of sexual abuse against him wherein multiple women revealed messages that he had sent to them about his cannibalistic fantasies and sexual fetishes. After the messages leaked online, the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor was dropped by his agency, WME, and also left a few projects including Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Shotgun Wedding.’ He said that he is now ‘grateful’ for everything that happened.
