Masti 4 director Milap Zaveri reveals had no work for the last two years, thanks Riteish Deshmukh for having faith: ‘No one was answering my calls’

Riteish Deshmukh is gearing up for his upcoming film, Masti 4, which also stars Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi. The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri, who expressed gratitude towards actor-producer Riteish for reviving his career.

Zaveri has recently taken to his social media and revealed he was struggling with no work and unanswered calls two years ago. Zaveri also admitted that he had lost faith in his ability to direct again when Riteish chimed in to help the filmmaker.

Zaveri shared a picture with Riteish on his Instagram and penned in the caption, “2 years ago i had no work. No one was answering my calls. No one had faith i could direct again.”
The filmmaker continued, “Then one man @riteishd said i should direct #Masti4 That he will back me. Today he wrapped #Masti4 ❤️ Today i have 3 films releasing in one year. #EkDeewaneKiDEEWANIYAT #TeraYaarHoonMain and #Masti4 All because he was the first to show faith in me. He kickstarted my fightback. He is my sethji and im indebted to him for life.”

Jeetendra and Tusshar Kapoor have joined the cast of the fourth instalment in the franchise. The cast and the crew have recently wrapped up the UK schedule of the film.

The upcoming film is the fourth instalment in the franchise that kicked off in 2004, with a film directed by Indra Kumar, featuring Vivek, Riteish, and Aftab as three married friends seeking to spice up their mundane lives, leading to a series of comical mishaps.
