Malaika Arora has closed a major real estate deal, selling her luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri West for Rs 5.3 crore. The transaction, completed in August 2025, was confirmed through property registration documents reviewed on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
The actress had originally purchased the property in March 2018 for Rs 3.26 crore. With the latest sale, she secured a profit of around Rs 2.04 crore, which translates to an impressive 62 percent appreciation in just seven years.
The deal incurred stamp duty costs of Rs 31.08 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000. The apartment also came with a designated car parking space. According to the documents, the apartment boasts a carpet area of 1,369 sq. ft. (127.18 sq. m.) and a built-up area of 1,643 sq. ft. (152.68 sq. m.).
Andheri West has long been one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential hubs. The locality offers excellent connectivity through the Western Express Highway, SV Road, the suburban railway network, and the Versova-Ghatkopar Metro corridor. This accessibility links residents to key business districts like Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Goregaon, and Andheri East.

Beyond connectivity, Andheri West is known for its luxury high-rises, premium societies, and thriving social infrastructure. Upscale restaurants, multiplexes, gyms, and international schools in the area have consistently driven up real estate demand, making it a hotspot for both investors and end-users. Malaika’s sale at such a high return underscores the strength of the micro-market.
Amid the property buzz, Malaika also shared a glimpse of her personal life on social media. On September 5, she posted a collage on Instagram featuring her mother celebrating Onam. Draped elegantly in a saree and surrounded by festive decor, her mother was seen enjoying the traditional Sandhya feast. Malaika captioned the post simply: “Happy Onam.”
