The highly-anticipated sequel Mad Square has recently hit the theatres and received a good response from the audience. The film notably received positive reviews from critics and is expected to be a massive hit at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, Mad Square earned around Rs 7.75 Cr India net on its first day. The film was released on Friday, March 28 and reportedly had an overall 54.82% Telugu occupancy.
The film is performing exceptionally well, particularly in Hyderabad and the USA, shocking the industry with its impressive box office numbers. Notably, the first instalment of Mad grossed around 20 crore worldwide, and the sequel's opening day collections are expected to approach this figure soon.
Additionally, the film has beaten Nithiin starrer Robinhood at the domestic box office. Robinhood has earned Rs 2 crore only on its opening day.
Directed and written by Kalyan Shankar, the movie features an ensemble case, including Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in lead roles. The film's music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with cinematography by Shamdat Sainudeen and editing by Navin Nooli.

The film is co-produced by Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
The movie is set a few years after the first film, Mad (2023) and focuses on Ashok, DD, Manoj and Ganesh’s trip to Goa. They reunited for their friend Laddu's wedding after college, but a sudden change in plans led them to embark on a vacation to Goa instead. However, their trip takes an unexpected turn, entangling them in a problem.
