Love Next Door teaser: Jung Hae In and Jung So Min's upcoming rom-com looks promising

As anticipation ramps up for the premiere of Love Next Door, K-drama fans are eagerly awaiting Jung Hae In's first foray into the romance comedy genre. Netflix dropped the first teaser of Love Next Door, offering a glimpse into the endearing bond between Jung Hae In and Jung So Min. The preview showcases their characters' journey from childhood friends to reuniting as adults, highlighting the chemistry that has persisted through the years. The teaser reveals how their initial connection evolves into something deeper as they reconnect in their adult lives.

Love Next Door is slated to premiere on August 17 on Netflix. The drama will consist of 16 episodes, airing every Saturday and Sunday. Jung So Min stars as Baek Seok Ryu, a once top-of-her-class achiever who, due to unforeseen circumstances, leaves behind a lucrative career. Meanwhile, Jung Hae In plays Choi Seunghyo, a successful architect who shared a close childhood with Seok Ryu. Their paths diverge but fate brings them back together, igniting old feelings and sparking new possibilities.

The series is directed by Yoo Je Won, known for his work on popular dramas such as Crash Course in Romance, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, and King: Eternal Monarch. The script is penned by Shin Ha Eun, whose previous works include Hometown Cha Cha Cha and The Crowned Clown.
