Gaga delved into the significance of the song she performed, Mon Truc en Plumes, highlighting its special place in the hearts of the French. Originally performed by Zizi Jeanmaire in 1961, the song's title translates to My Thing with Feathers in English. Gaga shared that her connection to Jeanmaire extends beyond this performance; Jeanmaire starred in Cole Porter’s musical Anything Goes, which was Gaga’s first jazz release. She emphasised her close bond with French culture and her love for singing French music.

Gaga also revealed the meticulous preparation that went into her performance. Collaborating with Dior, she crafted a stunning dress using real, molted feathers, staying true to Jeanmaire's iconic look.
