Though she had initially remained silent, she has finally spoken up and responded to the reports of their separation.
In a candid conversation with Telly Masala, Anjum Fakih was asked about her ex-partner Rohit Jadhav and she said, "Jab hume pyaar hota hai, hum bohot hi excitement se aur bohot hi khule dil se usko apnate hai. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki we should embrace breakups as well (When we fall in love, we welcome it with a lot of excitement and a very open heart. I feel that we should embrace breakups in the same way as well.)"
Further speaking about embracing relationships and breakups alike with love and respect, Anjum then stated, “Because relationships jaha par hai, waha par anban hogi, waha pe breakups honge. Jaise hum falling in love ko khule dil se swagat karte hai, waise hi hume breakups ko bhi gale lagana chahiye aur unse mayus nahi hona chahiye (Because wherever there are relationships, there will be disagreements, there will be breakups. Just like we wholeheartedly welcome falling in love, we should also embrace breakups and not be disheartened by them.)"
In response to a question about the timing of the breakup, Anjum disclosed that it had happened previously. She went on to think that when a relationship ends, such as some of their friendships from when they were 10 to 15, it naturally causes sadness and makes them wonder why those people left their lives, but they accepted that change is unavoidable.

In 2022, the actress posted on social media to confirm her relationship with Rohit, who is not in the entertainment industry. But in 2024, rumours of their split began to circulate.
On the work front, Anjuum will be next seen in a show named Chhoriyan Chali Gaon.
