Romance is finally brewing on Typhoon Family, and viewers can’t stop talking about whether Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha will officially become the drama’s much-discussed Balloon Couple.
Episode 10 of the tvN series delivered a major shift in their relationship as Kang Taepoong (Lee Jun-ho) and Oh Mi-seon (Kim Min-ha) shared their first kiss during a business trip to Thailand.
But the excitement was short-lived. The morning after the kiss, the duo found themselves mismatched in expectations.
Taepoong, earnest and straightforward as always, was convinced they had begun dating, considering it their official “first day” as a couple. Mi-seon, however, refused to jump into defining the moment without explicitly saying, “Let’s date.”
This emotional gap only deepened with the preview of Episode 11. In the teaser, Mi-seon is seen drawing a firm boundary, telling Taepoong, “I don't want to lean on these feelings. How about we just care for each other as colleagues?”

Despite her attempt to maintain distance, newly released stills from upcoming episodes suggest that her heart may not fully agree with her words. One image shows Taepoong quietly standing behind Mi-seon, leaning toward her with unmistakable affection.
Another captures Mi-seon smiling brightly, her expression a blend of excitement and inner conflict.
Their after-work meeting in a narrow alley adds to the tension, as their lingering gazes reveal feelings they are both trying, and failing, to suppress. The push and pull between emotional restraint and undeniable chemistry has kept viewers deeply invested.
The production team echoed this in a statement, saying, “Taepoong is someone who never backs down. Whether at work or in love, he always finds a solution. Please stay tuned to see what changes his persistence will bring to Mi-seon in this week's episodes.”
