The fictional K-pop group Saja Boys, first introduced in the Netflix animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, is about to make the leap from animation to reality — officially debuting as a real-world music act.

The Federation of Korean Music Performers (FKMP) announced on Thursday that “all five vocal artists of Saja Boys have recently joined as members.” This marks a major step for the singers behind the animated characters, who are now preparing for official music activities under their own names.

With a variety of backgrounds in K-pop and international music production, the recently registered members—Andrew Choi, Kevin Woo, Neckwav, Danny Chung, and samUIL Lee—are a formidable force. After placing third on SBS's K-pop Star Season 2, Andrew Choi gained notoriety and has since developed a successful career as a producer, creating hits for artists such as EXO, SHINee, and NCT.

Former U-KISS member Kevin Woo has made a name for himself in Korean and international entertainment by appearing in musicals and putting out solo albums.
