Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma was seen at the song launch of her upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' with her fellow cast members Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and director Anurag Basu.
While talking to the media, Konkona remembered late actor Irrfan Khan, who was seen in the first film Life In A Metro (2007).
Anurag said that Konkona sobbed while filming for the movie because she recalled and missed Irrfan.
During a media interaction, Konkona Sen Sharma spoke about sharing screen space with Irrfan Khan in Life In A Metro.
“There were so many moments when I missed him during the shoot of the film. Zamaane lagenge unko bhulaane mein... It happened many times, but I don't want to say what and when, because when you watch the film, I think you'll know when. Today, we'll celebrate," said Konkona.
Anurag Basu joined the conversation and stated that Konkona Sen Sharma sobbed during filming a certain sequence in Metro In Dino. The filmmaker stated, The filmmaker said, “There was a scene we were shooting with Konkona, and right in the middle of the scene, she exchanged a look with me and she started crying...Let's not go there."
Anurag Basu addressed Irrfan Khan, KK, cameraman Bobby Singh, and art director Rajat Poddar, who are no longer on the crew to celebrate Metro In Dino.
Metro In Dino also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, and others in key parts. It is set to hit theaters on July 4, 2025.
