KBC 17 Promo: Officers Vyomika Singh, Sofiya Qureshi reveal to Amitabh Bachchan why Operation Sindoor was important

Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 returned this Monday with contestants gracing the hot seats. The network has unveiled a special Independence Day episode featuring several special contestants.

In the new promo released on the official Instagram handle of  Sony Entertainment Television, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is seen hosting Colonel Sofiya Qureshi (Indian Army), Wing Commander Vyomika Singh (Indian Air Force), and Commander Prerna Deosthalee (Indian Navy) on KBC 17.

In the Independence Day Maha Utsav special episode promo, Amitabh Bachchan is seen having a conversation with the veterans about Operation Sindoor. Colonel Sofiya reveals some details about the mission.

The clip begins with Colonel Sofiya sitting on the hot seat with Wing Commander Vyomika and Commander Prerna. She said, “Pakistan ye karta chala aa rha hai to jawab dena banta tha sir. Isiliye Operation Sindoor ko plan kiya gya (Pakistan keeps doing this. So it was necessary to reply, sir. That's why Operation Sindoor was planned).”
Commander Vyomika added, "From 1:05 am to 1:30 am, the game was over in 25 minutes. Commander Prerna said, "The targets were destroyed, and no civilian was harmed." Colonel Sofiya added, "Yeh ek naya Bharat, nayi soch ke saath hai."

The promo then introduces Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and then Commander Prerna Deosthalee, with all three announcing, “mai aa rhi hun Kaun Banega Crorepati aapke saath stantra diwas ka mahautsav mnane (I am coming to celebrate Independence Day with you, Who Will Become a Crorepati).”
