Karan Johar welcomes Shanaya Kapoor to Bollywood with the sweetest note ahead of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan release

Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, is set to make her Bollywood debut soon with the film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey. As she sets foot in the industry, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar extends his heartiest wishes and welcomes her to Bollywood.

Ahead of the film’s release on July 11, Karan Johar took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a heartfelt post featuring a series of family photos of Shanaya Kapoor with her parents and brother Jahaan.

He also included the official poster of the film along with a striking solo picture of Shanaya, celebrating her debut in style.

He wrote an emotional note along with the pictures that read, "I have known Sanjay and Maheep for over three decades….I have seen them in joyous celebrations, in quiet moments, in their lowest hours and beautiful destiny highs… battling storms that have come in their way with a broad smile on their faces and always an impeccable sense of humour … a couple that are deeply loved by everyone who know them…. The centres of their universe has always been their children Shanaya and Jahaan ( fun fact: I have named him ) …They raised them to be the most warm and loving children…."
