The clip comes from a post Katy shared on Instagram, where she celebrated turning 41 with the simple caption, “Level 41.”
One user reposted the clip, writing, “A grown 41 year old woman not caring about the person who will clean up her mess & the person who put hard work into making that cake. She needs to touch grass. Katy Perry is getting more & more disgusting lately, as if recruiting Dr. Luke was not enough....”
The tweet quickly spread, prompting a flood of reactions. Some defended Katy, saying it was just a moment of silly fun, while others called it tone-deaf, especially considering the time and effort that likely went into making the elaborate dessert.
