Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer best known for her hit Call Me Maybe, married music producer Cole M.G.N. at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City on October 4.
Carly gave her fans a sneak peek at their private celebration a few weeks after their wedding, and it looked just as idyllic as anyone could have imagined.
She posted a number of stunning images from the ceremony to Instagram on Saturday, October 25, showcasing the love, laughter, and warmth that pervaded their special day.
The first picture showed Carly and Cole walking hand in hand on the streets of New York City in their wedding outfits, radiating pure happiness. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Husband. That feels good to say. New York City ~Oct. 4th. Favourite day of my life.”
The following photos featured the couple laughing with friends, sharing tender moments, and dancing joyfully. One particularly sweet photo showed the newlyweds enjoying a treat outside a shop, still in their wedding attire. The post ended with a romantic shot of Carly and Cole sharing a kiss.
For her big day, Carly wore a strapless corseted gown with a draped skirt by Australian designer Toni Maticevski for the ceremony, and later changed into a delicate, tiered reception dress by Danielle Frankel. Adding a personal touch, she paired both dresses with pearl earrings handcrafted by her mother, Alexandra Lanzarott.
As reported by Vogue, the couple’s wedding took place in the Bard Room of the historic Chelsea Hotel, surrounded by around 100 guests.
In her conversation with Vogue, Carly explained why they chose the Chelsea Hotel as their venue. “We knew we wanted a place that meant something to us,” she said. “The Chelsea Hotel had become like a home away from home every time we visited New York. As artists, its iconic history and charm made it even more special.”
