Through this film, we are bringing that story to you. The teaser, which dropped recently, has been met with glowing reviews across the industry. Celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar hailed it as “spectacular,” while Farhan’s co-stars, including Raashii Khanna and Ankit Siwach, took to social media to express their pride in being part of the project.
120 Bahadur, directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, chronicles the heroic story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, Param Vir Chakra awardee, and the Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment during the legendary 1962 Battle of Rezang La.
Known as one of the most valiant stands in Indian military history, the battle is brought to life against the stark, unforgiving terrain of Ladakh.
Filming took place at altitudes soaring to 14,000 feet, with temperatures plunging to a bone-chilling minus 10°C, adding both authenticity and challenge to the production.
In preparation for his role, Farhan undertook rigorous military training and underwent a significant physical transformation to convincingly portray the valour and resilience of a soldier under extreme conditions.
The film, jointly produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), promises a gripping blend of historical accuracy, emotional depth, and cinematic spectacle. With its compelling narrative, breathtaking visuals, and stellar performances, 120 Bahadur is shaping up to be a powerful tribute to courage and sacrifice.
120 Bahadur marches into cinemas on 21 November 2025, carrying with it the promise of an epic wartime saga that will leave audiences both inspired and moved.
