Tusshar Kapoor’s son, Laksshya Kapoor, recently celebrated his birthday with a joyful family gathering. Ektaa Kapoor gave fans a peek into the festivities by sharing heartwarming moments from the celebration, which included Laksshya, Tusshar, herself, and a bunch of cheerful kids.
Ektaa Kapoor shared a heartfelt video on Instagram capturing the recent birthday celebration of Laksshya Kapoor. In the clip, Laksshya is seen cutting the cake, surrounded by his dad Tusshar and aunt Ektaa, making for a warm and joyful family moment.
She wrote in the caption, "Happie bday my darling laqu."
A poster of well-known football player Neymar was part of the football-themed décor for the birthday celebration. A football theme was even incorporated into the cake design, giving the celebration a more athletic feel.
Numerous fans and well-wishers poured into the comments, sending warm birthday greetings to the young boy.
Tusshar Kapoor became a single dad after his son Lakshyaa was born through surrogacy in 2016. He has embraced the role of a single father since then. During a previous interview with ETimes, Tusshar spoke about being a single dad and said, "I have never felt bored or overwhelmed by the daily chores of being a single parent who has to do everything. I pretty much relished it from the beginning. Being single can be quite boring. I think my life has become more active, happier and more fulfilling since Laksshya’s birth. He has completed my family, and it has been a very invigorating experience. I was only focused on my work before him but now I have so much more to do and look forward to. It is not just about my work anymore."

On the work front, Tusshar Kapoor was recently seen in the horror-comedy film Kapkapiii, co-starring Shreyas Talpade and Siddhi Idnani. It released on May 23, 2025.
