Ravi Udyawar, director of the highly anticipated action thriller Yudhra, in a recent interview, shed light on the significant physical transformation Siddhant Chaturvedi underwent for his role. Udyawar revealed that Siddhant experienced substantial weight fluctuations to embody his character effectively.
“Yes, he lost a lot of weight to be that young cadet. Towards the end, he gained a lot of weight. His face was rugged and you can see the transformation,” Udyawar shared. He further detailed, “If you look at the trailer, he prepared himself doing martial arts and physically bulked up.” Udyawar noted that Siddhant lost approximately 20 kilograms during the transformation, emphasizing the precision of his trainer's efforts. “I can't tell you the exact weight, I'll ask Siddhant and let you know. His trainer did everything meticulously,” he added.

Discussing Siddhant’s training regime, Ravi Udyawar confirmed, “Yes, he was doing a lot of things. His trainer worked meticulously with him, incorporating jiu-jitsu and other martial arts forms, including Animal Flow. He also trained throughout the pandemic, setting up a makeshift gym at home since gyms were closed.” Praising Siddhant’s dedication, Ravi Udyawar noted, “He is a hardworking guy. I wanted the action to be real. I wanted him to be careful about his safety. I wanted him to be realistic and hand-to-hand. That’s what I wanted him to do.”

Yudhra, set to release on September 20, is an action-packed film directed by Ravi Udyawar and written by Farhan Akhtar and Sridhar Raghavan. Siddhant Chaturvedi stars as the intense and revenge-driven Yudhra, with Malavika Mohanan playing Nikhat, a role that adds emotional depth. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, the film also features a strong supporting cast, including Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun, and Raghav Juyal.
