Dhanush is gearing up for his upcoming highly anticipated film, Tere Ishk Mein. However, the actor has sported a new look for Aanand L Rai’s directorial film. The actor was spotted at the set of the film, where he can be seen in an Indian Air Force uniform.
Dhanush looked dashing in a close-cropped haircut and a steely moustache that he channelled for his character. The upcoming film is a sequel to the 2013 film Raanjhanaa, in which Dhanush played the role of a college boy.
However, the actor’s character seems to undergo a drastic transformation, sparking excitement among the fans.
Dhanush made his Hindi film debut with Raanjhanaa, which became a blockbuster hit at the time. Sources close to the production have revealed that Dhanush’s role in Tere Ishk Mein is one of the most demanding Hindi roles to date. The actor will reprise his role 13 years after he won millions of hearts with his powerful performance that showcases his impressive acting skills and emotional range.
However, the 4-time National Award-winning actor is all set to reunite with director Aanand L Rai for the cult classic. The plot details of the upcoming sequel are currently kept under wraps, but there are speculations that the storyline will blend vulnerability, intensity, and cinematic ambition for pan pan-India theatrical experience.
Produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, along with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, the film is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow.
Penned by Himanshu Sharma and with the music from the legendary A.R. Rahman, Tere Ishk Mein also stars Kriti Sanon.
Tere Ishk Mein is slated for release on November 28, 2025.
