Dhanush gets emotional after child actor's mother pays a heartfelt tribute at Idli Kadai event

Tamil superstar Dhanush, who is currently promoting his next movie, Idli Kadai, recently experienced an emotional moment at a special event held in Madurai.

It was when the mother of a child actor, who plays younger Dhanush in the movie paid  a heartfelt tribute, the normally composed star broke down in tears.

"I am overjoyed that Dhanush sir chose my son for this film," the mother said in the widely shared video from the event. For years, I've admired him and prayed for a chance like this. I was overjoyed when he asked my son to play a part in the movie. Thank you very much. Dhanush broke down in tears on stage as her words moved the audience.

Dhanush also discussed the rising prevalence of early reviews at the same event. He cautioned viewers against being influenced by initial online responses. "Reviews begin to appear by 8 am if a movie starts at 9 am. How can that be? Please don't trust these reviews. Before making a decision, watch the movie yourself or consult friends who have seen it, he advised.
