Comedian Matt Rife, known for his razor-sharp wit, fearless crowd work, and dark humour, has taken a spine-chilling turn in the spotlight. In an unexpected twist, the stand-up star has officially purchased the infamous Connecticut home of Ed and Lorraine Warren, the renowned paranormal investigators whose work inspired The Conjuring universe. But that's not all, Rife is now the legal guardian of one of the most feared artifacts in paranormal lore: the haunted Annabelle doll.

Rife took to Instagram to share the news, stating, “I have officially purchased Ed and Lorraine Warren’s home and Occult Museum.” He revealed that, while he doesn’t legally own the haunted items, he is now the official guardian and caretaker of the entire supernatural collection—including the infamous Annabelle doll—for at least the next five years.

In a now-viral TikTok video, Rife explained the motivation behind the eerie acquisition. “This might be the most important and prominent piece of paranormal history in the world,” he said. “I know a lot of you guys don't know what any of this means whatsoever, but if you follow ghost stuff, this is as big as it gets.”
