BTS' Jin joins Coldplay on stage after army discharge, shares touching moment with Chris Martin

When Jin made a spectacular comeback to the stage, joining Coldplay at their Seoul show, BTS fans were in for an emotional and thrilling surprise. Jin made his first public appearance since finishing his required military service in June of last year with this performance. This reunion is all the more poignant because, interestingly, his final live performance before enlisting in 2022 was also with Coldplay, during their iconic concert in Argentina.

Videos and pictures from the Seoul concert quickly flooded social media, capturing the magical onstage chemistry between Jin and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Jin made a playful and heartwarming entrance holding a poster that read, "Pick me please. Can I sing The Astronaut with you?" In response, Chris Martin dramatically pointed at Jin, knelt on stage, and bowed, prompting Jin to return the gesture in a beautiful display of mutual respect and admiration.

Then, much to the delight of the fans, the pair lit up the stage with performances of The Astronaut and My Universe. Chris was seen kissing Jin's cheek and embracing him in a heartwarming moment, highlighting the close relationship between the two musicians.

While on stage, the two also shared a light-hearted exchange. Chris asked Jin his name, to which Jin replied, "My team is BTS." Chris responded with a grin, "Oh.. Your team is BTS!" and jokingly added, "We are Coldplay, the second-best band in the world. BTS maybe number 1 I think!" Jin humbly disagreed, saying, "Oh no! I don't think so."
