BIGHIT MUSIC has officially confirmed that BTS’ J-Hope is set for a solo comeback in March 2025, sparking immense excitement among fans.
The confirmation comes after weeks of speculation, fueled by cryptic hints dropped by the rapper himself on social media. While the exact release date remains undisclosed, all signs point to an early March drop, making it J-Hope’s first solo project since his military discharge in October 2024.
K-media outlets reported that a representative from BIGHIT MUSIC acknowledged J-Hope’s comeback preparations, stating, "It’s true that J-Hope is currently preparing with the goal of releasing new music in March. A more specific date will be announced at a later time."
With this confirmation, fans have begun speculating on the release date—many believing that March 7 could be the day.
The speculation around March 7 stems from a TikTok video J-Hope shared on January 24, where he slid his phone toward the camera, revealing a clock reading 03:07. Given his past tendency to drop subtle Easter eggs, ARMYs are convinced that this was a teaser for the official release date*.
J-Hope previously posted snippets of his music-making process on Instagram, captioning them, "New music on the way. 2025.03."
This upcoming project will mark his first major solo release since his single album On the Street (March 2023) and special album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1 (2024), which was released during his military service.
The timing of J-Hope’s comeback aligns perfectly with his highly anticipated solo concert series, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, scheduled to take place at KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Arena) in Olympic Park, Seoul, from February 28 to March 2.
