Despite the attention this memory is receiving now, little is known about Birva’s current life or whereabouts.

Palash is already under scrutiny when his past comes to light. Social media was inundated with claims that Palash's alleged adultery, rather than just Smriti's father's health, was the reason behind the sudden postponement of the wedding on November 23. When users discovered that Smriti had deleted multiple images of Palash from her Instagram profile, the rumours grew more intense.
Screenshots allegedly depicting Palash's conversations with another woman started making the rounds on the internet shortly after. Palash had also discussed the difficulties of sustaining a long-distance relationship with Smriti in these conversations, which seemed to indicate flirtatious exchanges.
