Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Masti 4, frequently makes headlines for his personal and professional lives. The actor has recently reflected on his very first relationship when he was just 13 years old.
In a recent interview with Prakhar Gupta on his YouTube channel, Vivek talked about his childhood sweetheart, who died of cancer at 17. He admitted that witnessing her death was hard.
Vivek shared, “You have to be open again and feel again even if you go through heartbreak. For example, I lost my childhood sweetheart to blood cancer. I was 18 and she was 17, and I saw her pass away right in front of my eyes.”
The actor reflected on the ‘puppy love’ between the duo. He recalled exchanging handmade gifts and cards. Vivek added that he was positive he would wed his ex-girlfriend when they grew up.
“We fell in love when I was 13, and it was that kind of ‘puppy love’ where we gave each other cards. I was very sure that she was the girl I was going to marry when I grew older, and we had thought about getting married, having kids and the rest of our lives together. Suddenly, she went away. She was diagnosed in January, and she was gone by March,” recalled Vivek.

After becoming the talk of the town, the actor's relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which eventually had an impact on his career, Vivek found his true love with his wife, Priyanka Alva.
The couple tied the knot in an arranged marriage on October 29, 2010, in Bangalore, attended by their friends and family. The couple has since had two children, Vivaan and Ameya.
