Mira Rajput wishes brother-in-law Ishaan Khatter on his 30th birthday with a sweet post

She has been one of his most ardent supporters from The Royals to Homebound. She wrote a very moving post earlier this year after seeing Neeraj Ghaywan's highly regarded drama Homebound.

“I had the privilege of watching Homebound and struggled on that day and for many days after to put into words how much I felt after watching it,” she wrote.

She went on to add, “Ishaan, you have filled our hearts with pride. Fly with your magic and touch the world with your gift. Vishal Jethwa, I almost typed Chandan; you became him, and I still keep thinking about your performance. Thank you, Neeraj Ghaywan, for this.”

Ishaan, too, has spoken often about how close he is to Mira and Shahid Kapoor, and how much he adores their children, Misha and Zain. Theirs is a bond built on mutual admiration, laughter, and unconditional love — something that fans find refreshing and real.

Ishaan's powerful performance in The Royals received overwhelmingly positive reviews, and the whole family was proud when Homebound was selected as India's official Oscar entry in addition to receiving critical acclaim.
