Jaideep Ahlawat shares childhood memories of Amitabh Bachchan: "Watched his films a hundred times”

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has been entertaining the Indian audience for decades with his stellar acting and movies. However, the superstar's movies were more than just cinematic moments for Paatal Lok actor Jaideep Ahlawat.

Jaideep recently appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati and recalled how Amitabh Bachchan’s movies inspired him.

In a promo of the upcoming episode, Jaideep said, “Growing up, whenever a baby was born in my village, the celebrations always included screening your films: Deewar, Zanjeer, and Don. Because of this tradition, I must have seen each of those movies well over a hundred times."
Jaideep further explained that Amitabh Bachchan’s classic was the soundtrack of his childhood, adding, “Separately, the audio cassette of Sholay was an integral part of our festivities. Every major holiday — Holi, Diwali, and others —we would gather, and the entire village would listen keenly to the movie’s soundtrack and dialogue, playing the full cassette from start to finish."

Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi will join Jaideep in promoting The Family Man 3 in the same forthcoming KBC episode.

Manoj also recalled his first encounter with Amitabh Bachchan during Satya screening, which took place 28 years ago. He still remembers that moment.
