Veteran Bollywood actress and dancing diva turned 87 on November 21 and threw a star-studded birthday party attended by some of the prominent names. The actress was spotted in the city and greeted the paparazzi.
In the viral video, Helen was seen smiling and greeting the paps with folded hands. She looked stunning in a violet coloured churidaar suit as she got out of her car. She also posed for pictures in front of the paparazzi.
Helen waved, grinned, and held up her hands. After saying "thank you" for the birthday greetings, she went inside a short while later. Soon after, Salim Khan also showed up.
Helen’s close friend Rekha also attended the birthday celebration. Veteran actress Rekha also looked stunning in a black jumpsuit. She accessorised her look with a blue jacket and her statement black shades.
Rekha flaunts her stunning smile and poses for pictures. The veteran actress even took a camera from one of the photographers to click a picture for them.
For the unversed, actor Cuckoo introduced Helen to Bollywood. The song Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu from Shakti Samanta's 1958 film Howrah Bridge gave her big break.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, she gained popularity for her vamp roles and dances in Bollywood films. During this period, she met Salim Khan, and during their time together, they fell in love; however, they did not get married right away. Helen was also married to Prem Narayan Arora for a while before divorcing him in 1974.
