Anupam Kher moved to tears as Satish Kaushik’s daughter calls him her late father’s ‘messenger of love’ - watch video

Veteran actor Anupam Kher was visibly emotional after receiving a touching tribute from Vanshika Kaushik, daughter of the late actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik. During a recent interview, Anupam was surprised with a heartfelt video message from the young girl, who beautifully expressed how the actor has stepped into her life as a father figure since her dad’s sudden passing in March 2023.

In the video, Vanshika begins by sharing how her father’s love still finds its way to her, despite his absence. “I know that my Papa is not with me the way he used to be. But I still get all his love. Do you know how? Papa sends all his love through his best friend, Mr. Anupam Kher, whom I call Anupam Uncle," she said, describing how Anupam Kher’s constant care has kept her father's warmth alive.

“When Papa had to go on a special journey all of a sudden, it was Anupam Uncle who held my hand, guided me and protected me at every step. He made me feel that while I might not be able to see my dad, I could still feel his warmth for sure,” she added.

Vanshika also recalled how Anupam Kher continues her father’s Sunday tradition of taking her out for lunch, despite his busy schedule. “He spends time with me, talks to me about my school, my studies and even my Instagram channel. Oh, I must tell you this — Anupam Uncle has also made some really cool reels with me, which he shared on his own Instagram page,” she shared. “He's danced with me, made funny faces, cracked jokes, heard my stories. He's done everything that I would do with my dad.”
