Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor's sister, got engaged to her longtime partner Rohan Thakkar on Thursday, October 2, in an intimate ceremony with friends and family.
The bride-to-be, Anshula, recently shared a gratitude post for her step-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, appreciating their love and support for her throughout good and bad times.
Taking to Instagram, Anshula posted a video featuring Khushi and Janhvi helping her get ready for the engagement. The sister duo were seen braiding her hair, while Anshula smiled blissfully.
She penned in the caption, "Didn’t know how much I needed their quiet kind of love until I had it. The kind that doesn’t need words - just a hug at the right time, a hand that reaches to hold mine, a look that says “we’ve got you”. The kind that shows up softly, but stays loud in my heart.."
"My sounding boards, my built-in cheerleaders, my unspoken comfort. Thank you for being my soft place to land, always. ILY my @janhvikapoor @khushikapoor," concluded the post.
Anshula looked beautiful in a purple lehenga, while Rohan complemented her look in a navy blue bandhgala sherwani.
Anshula also shared several other photos and videos from her Gor Dhana ceremony. One of the photos captured the entire Kapoor family happily posing together. Sonam was seen posing with Anshula and Rohan, while Arjun and Karan Boolani stood in front. Shikhar Pahariya appeared beside Janhvi, with Shanaya, Jahaan, and Rhea Kapoor also joining in the cheerful group photo. In another candid moment, Anshula is captured dancing with her father, Boney Kapoor, and in a separate shot, she poses happily with her sisters, Janhvi and Khushi.

In her caption, Anshula wrote, “02/10/2025 This wasn’t just our Gor Dhana, it was love showing up in every little detail. Ro’s favorite words have always been “Always and Forever" – and today, they started to feel real in the sweetest way. His love makes me believe fairytales don’t just live in books, they live in moments like these."
Anshula had earlier shared pictures from her dreamy proposal this year in July. The couple officially confirmed their relationship in 2023.
