To honour the passing of India’s beloved ‘He-Man’, Dharmendra, who left for his heavenly abode on November 24, 2025, Amul shared a moving tribute that struck an emotional chord with fans across the country.
His funeral was held on Monday at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans Crematorium, where a long list of Bollywood stars gathered to pay their last respects. A day later, many of them made their way to the Deol residence in Juhu, quietly offering comfort to a family that has lost its strongest pillar.
Amul, known for its timely and heartfelt topicals, paid homage to the legendary actor almost immediately after the news of his demise surfaced.
Their illustration carried the poignant line, “Bharat Ka Yaadon Mein,” accompanied by the caption, “Amul Topical: Tribute to the He-man of Hindi cinema!” The creative quickly began circulating online, capturing the nation’s collective grief.
The atmosphere at the crematorium on Monday was sombre yet filled with love as industry stalwarts came together to say their final goodbye. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, and Salim Khan were among the many who assembled to honour a man whose presence shaped generations of cinema.
Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, and their daughter Esha Deol also reached the crematorium, both visibly shaken as they hurried inside, trying to gather the strength to bid farewell to the man who meant the world to them.
The veteran actor had been keeping unwell in the days leading to his passing. He was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where he had been placed on ventilator support before being discharged on November 12.

On Monday morning, an ambulance was spotted at his Juhu home, and soon after, the heartbreaking news emerged. The industry was left stunned; tributes began pouring in from every corner as fans and colleagues struggled to process the loss.
On the work front, Dharam ji was most recently seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. His final appearance will be in Ikkis, scheduled to hit the screens on December 25, a bittersweet farewell to a man whose charm, warmth, and legacy will forever remain unmatched in Hindi cinema.
